The Happyland Carnival Created and Produced by Leaky Heaven and Proximity Lab Theatre, in partnership with Britannia Community Centre. happyland carnival premiered at the Vancouver International Folk Festival July 16 & 17, 2005 and ran alongside the Leaky Heaven Circus in Bonobo! August 9-21, 2005. "so delightfully dour ... and behind each quirkily forced smile and reinforced wrinkle at Happyland is a wink: So far, no children have run away with that circus - and no people pretending to be animals have been hurt."
